Description

Client in Townsend, DE seeking a highly organized and and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will manage budgets, timelines, subcontractors, and compliance requirements, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Hours: 8am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction.
  • Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of [1+] years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Working Conditions:

  • Split between on-site construction environments and office-based planning.
  • May require extended hours, evenings, or weekends depending on project needs.
  • Must be able to navigate active construction sites safely.

Ability to successfully complete a background check and pass drug testing.
